Elaine Ramsey, Certified Instructor

Eric Pechacek

GOALS: My primary focus is and will always be to teach and encourage the students of our school to be the best they can be both personally and in taekwondo. Each class is a new experience and a chance to develop, and I will always strive to make that experience fun and challenging for my students. My personal goal this year will be to fulfill the requirements of my 4th degree testing and achieve my 4th degree black belt in June of 2011.

HOBBIES: I love to run and exercise, and play just about any sport out there. God comes first in my life so I spend a lot of time volunteering at my church and working with the junior high ministry. I volunteer at church camp every summer. It is amazing!

ACHEIVEMENTS: I was a TOP 10 Competitor at World Championships in 2007 and was also the 2007 Texas State Champion in Forms. I am a Certified Instructor; Level 3 Tournament Judge; Level 2 Weapons Judge; and CPR certified. My favorite weapon is the Single Bahng Mahng EE but the Mid-range Bow Staff is slowly changing that.

ADVICE: I believe that taekwondo has something to offer every person. It doesn’t matter if you are young or old; taekwondo changes lives. Who knew that 8 years ago I would compete for World Champion, become an instructor and 3rd degree black belt. The confidence I have gained, the friends I have made, and the life-skills I have developed have made this journey an awesome experience. I encourage you to discover where this journey can take you.
