Here's a message for you parents, when we first signed up our three kids we were talked into doing a family deal, so we joined. It's funny, we had to have been one of the most non-cooperative/non-communicating families but quickly we saw what a change and impact Taekwondo has had in our lives. Not only did it allow me as a mom to lose weight and feel great about myself, but we finally had one thing we could agree on as a family. We also have a daughter that is deaf, so the fact that Mrs. Pechacek signs has been such a huge blessing. With this in her life, she has quickly learned that there is nothing she can’t do. You simply can’t put a price on investing in your children when their lives continue to be molded in such a positive way. Each day I am amazed to see what these kids are growing into!

Here's a message for you parents who may be considering Carrollton ATA for your child. I'm semi-retired now and began my Taekwondo journey at Carrollton ATA in early 2009. During my long career in business, I was exposed to all kinds of management styles; but only a handful of men and women truly deserved the title of "leader". Mr. Pechacek belongs in this group. He exhibits all the characteristics of a true leader, such as honesty, integrity, discipline, and perhaps most important of all, leading by example. He encourages each student to perform to the best of his or her ability but always in a positive way - I've never seen him berate or belittle a student. The same goes for the rest of the instructors and staff. These genuine leaders have created a positive, challenging, and fun atmosphere at Carrollton ATA where students of all ages can learn the sport at their own pace. Students are competitive but very supportive of one another, and are always ready to help a fellow student when asked. This is, quite simply, one of the finest groups of people I've ever been a part of.

So, parents, your child can probably learn Taekwondo at just about any school. But few others will give your child exposure to what true leadership means in the way Carrollton ATA will do.
